Welcome to newtown stage co!

We are thrilled to bring current Hamilton cast member, Jennifer Gellar to Newtown Stage Company for a Hamilton masterclass!  Jennifer started her Hamilton journey as the original "Bullet" in the National Tour before moving to the Broadway company in 2021. We are so excited for Jennifer to teach us choreography from the show and answer our questions about working in the hottest show on Broadway!

This class will have limited availability and take place on Monday, February 17th in the morning. (No school that day!)

Our first session will be for young performers in 5th grade and up. Our second session will be for adults!! 

We are very excited to bring Broadway's Elphaba and Wicked musical director to Newtown Stage Company! Mary Kate Morrissy has been playing Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway since the end of 2023. Before that, she toured the US as Janice in the first Broadway National Tour of Mean Girls! Dan Micciche has been working with Wicked as the Music Director and Conductor for 9 years, both on Broadway and with the National and International Tours. He is also known for being the youngest actor in history to play Mary Sunshine in the Broadway production of Chicago! 

Participants in this class will be asked to prepare 16-32 bars of a song of their choice to perform. Singers will take turns performing for MK and Dan so that they can receive feedback and adjustments from them.  After everyone has had a chance to sing, we will have a Q&A for our participants to ask questions!

This master class is open to kids in 5th grade and beyond. Space is limited!
